Angelo Paul Sevarino joined the firm of Morrissey, Morrissey & Mooney LLC as Of Counsel in 2012.  Prior to that he was in private practice for 33 years and prior to that held position in regional and home office managerial positions within the commercial property-casualty insurance industry holding positions in commercial underwriting, commercial claims and field operations from 1972 to 1984.. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology (BA=71) and Master of Arts degree in educational psychology (MA=72) from the University of Connecticut. While in graduate studies he was a graduate teaching assistant instructing a course in educational tests and measurements.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law (JD=78).  He is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers= Compensation, is nationally credentialed by the Commission on Health Care Certification (CHCC) as a Medicare Certified Set-Aside Consultant (MSCC)*; is designated AAv@ rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory; and sits as a member of the Workers= Compensation Commission Legal Advisory Committee. He was inducted as a Fellow of The College of Workers= Compensation Lawyers (Class of 2011), the recipient of the 2005 Achievement Award presented by the Connecticut Italian American Bar Association and the 2007 recipient of the Edward Pomeranz/Edward O=Brien Memorial Award for Excellence and Achievement presented by the Workers= Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
