He began his career as a prosecutor for the 10th Judicial Circuit. From 1986 through 1994, David prosecuted serious felonies, including murder cases, rape cases, drug cases and white-collar crime. Attorney Stoddard left the Solicitor’s Office in 1994 and went into practice with the firm Waldrep & Stoddard. While at the firm, David mainly represented defendants as a personal injury attorney in Anderson, SC, and in insurance defense cases. However, when the firm became more plaintiff oriented, Stoddard left the firm to start his own personal injury attorney practice in 2006.When David is not in the courtroom, he spends much of his free time with his wife and his two children. He is also an active member of the Anderson community. He is a member of the Anderson Rotary Club and serves as a deacon for the Anderson First Baptist Church. David is also on the church’s Personnel Committee and sings in their choir. Mr. Stoddard also enjoys listening to music, golf, running and weight lifting.
