Keith was born and raised in Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia, and currently makes his home in Bridgeport.. After graduating from Fairmont State College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Keith attended West Virginia University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1996. From 1995 to 1996, he was a member of the prestigious WVU College of Law Moot Court Board as well as the Moot Trial Association, which recognized law students who excelled at brief writing and oral advocacy.. A passionate defender of West Virginia injury victims for nearly 20 years, Keith is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the West Virginia Association for Justice, organizations dedicated to preserving our civil justice system. Keith is particularly focused on and speaks publicly about the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees a person or business’s right to a jury trial in civil cases.. Keith knew from an early age that he wanted to be a lawyer. “Not only is it a highly-respected profession, but I realized that becoming a lawyer would give me a much greater opportunity to advance my community, help people and contribute to society,” he said.
