Admitted to practice in Colorado State Courts, U.S. District Court & U.S. Bankruptcy Court - Colorado Ms. McClain practices in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense/DUI Defense and Civil Litigation. Although a Colorado native, Ms. McClain spent over twelve years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. McClain had an early start in litigation working for several large law firms as a litigation assistant. In that role, she was extremely involved in trial preparation for various civil cases in California and grew to love litigation as a result. Ms. McClain now has 13 years of trial experience. She is a very a compassionate, client centered, professional attorney is committed to bringing her clients a fair resolution and strives to accomplish their goal.. Ms. McClain received her JD from Golden Gate University in San Francisco where she received special recognition in Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law. This highly specialized area includes branding trademarks, trade secret protection and copyright administration. Ms. McClain has negotiated and drafted numerous contracts for musicians, producers and singer/songwriters. Although, this no longer a portion of her practice in Colorado, Ms. McClain loves the world of music and entertainment.  Community activism and civil rights have always been important to Ms. McClain. She continues to volunteer regularly in her community for various causes.
