Anthony. Katchen, Esq., is a former Assistant District Attorney for the Office of the Richmond County District Attorney's Office in Staten Island, New York. As a prosecutor, Mr. Katchen worked in the Criminal Court Bureau as well as the esteemed and elite Sex Crimes/Special Victims Bureau. In his capacity in this position, Mr. Katchen gained enormous experience in both litigating, investigating, and handling varied crimes, from petit larceny to homicide.  Importantly, while in this role, Mr. Katchen was essentially in court on a daily basis and has taken from this experience significant in-court trial skills.  Respected in legal circles for his legal acumen, Mr. Katchen has firmly established himself as a respected member of the of both the Criminal Law and Family Law bar.  Mr. Katchen is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law - Newark, where he attended as a Dean's Merit Scholarship Award Winner.  While attending Law School, Mr. Katchen served as an editor for the Rutgers Law Record.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Katchen graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.. Mr. Katchen resides with his three women: wife, daughter, and dog. He is a passionate sports fan, who, in his spare time, volunteers as a coach for a high school ice hockey team.
