Erin attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in Louisville, earning her Juris Doctor and graduating cum laude in May 2021. While in law school, she also received the CALI Award and the Leon Seidman Memorial Award. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Erin is licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.. Prior to joining the Louisville divorce and family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Erin most recently served as Legal Counsel for the Administrative Office of the Courts in Frankfort, Kentucky, managing a dynamic workload to address legal concerns within the Kentucky Court of Justice. Her role included conducting broad legal research, responding to Open Records requests, reviewing organizational documents, and assisting various court departments with legal issues. She also tracked legislative developments affecting the courts and served as the legal liaison for implementing a new statewide case management system. Previously, she was Associate Legal Counsel in the same office, focusing on legal research, reviewing collateral securities agreements, and monitoring civil suits involving the organization. Out of law school, Erin worked as a Staff Attorney at the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office, where she represented indigent clients in misdemeanor and felony cases, managed a heavy caseload, conducted legal research, and litigated procedural issues.
