Angela Stanley grew up in the Central Florida area, where she attended Lake Brantley High School.  After High School, Angela moved to Gainesville, Florida where she attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate degree and law school degree.  While attending law school, Angela received a Book Award for having the highest grade in her Legal Research and Writing Class and was later a Teaching Assistant for two classes.  In addition to excelling in class, Angela was also the University of Florida, Chapter President for the American Bar Association, where she travelled to different cities throughout the country to represent the University of Florida, College of Law.. After graduating from law school, Angela started practicing civil litigation in the Central Florida area in 2002.  Angela has had the honor of working for two large law firms and then spent five and a half years working as in-house counsel for the largest insurance company in the country.. Through her employment and real world experiences, Angela quickly learned that not every situation can be worked out mutually.  However, in today’s society, most civil attorneys have never gone to trial.  Angela understands the importance of mediation but also believes that an attorney should be well rounded for situations when trial is necessary.  As such, Angela has valuable trial experience which can assist when non-contested matters become contested.  In addition to mediating hundreds of cases, Angela has extensive experience in trial preparation and has completed numerous civil trials (both jury and non-jury).. Most importantly, Angela's goal is to help good people in difficult situations. In the last 10 years, Angela has helped hundreds of individuals from the Central Florida area.  Wanting to reach out and help more people, Angela opened her own law firm in 2011.. When not helping clients, Angela spends her time volunteering for her community association, doing pro bono work for the Legal Aid Society, and spending time with family and friends.  Angela also enjoys photography and pottery.
