In addition to this experience, Jake served as an Assistant District Attorney felony prosecutor at the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.Jake is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Collin County Bar Association, Grayson County Bar Association, Paul Brown American Inn of Court, Grayson County Young Lawyer’s Association, McKinney Chamber of Commerce, McKinney Young Professionals and the North Texas Young Professionals. He frequently presents seminars to groups in the North Texas area on various topics such as intestacy in Texas, the importance of preparing a proper Will and disability documents, and living trust scams.Jake previously served on the Board of Directors for The Rehabilitation Center and the Sherman Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Section of the Collin County Bar Association.. Jake received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Austin College in 1999 and was a member of the Austin College Lacrosse team. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law) in 2003 and was a member of the international law fraternity Delta Theta Phi. Jake was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2004.. Wills and trusts, disability documents, probate administration, corporate law and business organizations, and guardianships.
