Paul C. He has designed and negotiated hundreds of successful contracts and licenses, successfully prosecuted many U.S. and international trademark, copyright and domain name applications, and prevailed in domain name and other intellectual property disputes. Before founding The Jorgensen Law Firm, Mr. Jorgensen was a senior intellectual property and contract counsel at the Washington D.C. law firm of Patton Boggs LLP. Before that experience, Paul acted as a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel with Choice Hotels International, Inc., where he managed the large hotel franchisor’s worldwide portfolio of trademarks, copyrights, domain names and trade secrets, designed profitable licensing programs, and helped a wide range of business units reach their goals.. Mr. Jorgensen began his legal career with the Washington D.C. office of Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 1988. Mr. Jorgensen remains active in the greater Washington D.C. community, serves on several boards and provides pro bono legal counsel to The National Cherry Blossom Festival and the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
