Ricardo "Rick" Ramos Jr. is a native of Eagle Pass, TX and a Co-Founder of The RT Law Firm, PLLC.  Mr. Ramos holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate Degree from Texas Southern University - Thurgood Marshall School of Law.  Mr. Ramos is fluent in Spanish.. Mr. Ramos practices primarily in the fields of criminal defense, personal injury, family law, and immigration.  Mr. Ramos also has experience in business matters, juvenile crimes, and probation violations.. Previously, Mr. Ramos proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and received an Honorable Discharge as a Staff Sergeant.  In his time in the Marine Corps, Mr. Ramos was deployed to serve during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.. While in law school, Mr. Ramos was selected as a member of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Criminal Legal Clinic where he seved as a court appointed attorney for indigent clients and tried various cases in criminal courts.  Additionally, Mr. Ramos served as a law clerk for the Hoborable Judge R.K. Sandill in the 127th District Court of Houston, TX and as an intern with the Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department.. After becoming licensed to practice law, Mr. Ramos started his own practice, with his business partner, which remains going strong to this day. Mr. Ramos continues to aggressively defend his clients and never stops seeking knowledge to gain an edge in his trial skills. He has now earned the ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Designation and is proud to use his knowledge and skills in the courtroom to continue to fight for his clients.
