I grew up in New York City and received my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evabston , Il.; my Honors Program thesis was “Mexican Immigration to Chicago”. I earned my law degree from Texas Tech University, clerking while at school for the Texas Attorney General's Office and the National Labor Relations Board. I am a fluent Spanish speaker..
