Janet earned a B.A. in English at Trenton State College, now known as The College of New Jersey, an M.A. in English from New York University, and a J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey,licensed to teach English in New Jersey,and is certified as a Facilitator for the Separated and Divorced.. Janet has over 33 years of legal experience in the areas of Residential Real Estate Law, Matrimonial Law, Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney. She also prepares and negotiates commercial leases for commercial properties and businesses.. Janet counsels clients in every aspect of Family Law, including Pre- Nuptial Agreements, Domestic Partnerships,Parenting Plans and divorce related issues.. Janet counsels clients in all phases of real estate, including leases, purchases,sales, financing and refinancing of residential and commercial properties.. She is a frequent speaker at numerous real estate offices and helps to advise and instruct realtors on developments in real estate as well as management of real estate closings. She was recently nominated by the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities’ Award for the Most Innovative Best Practice/New Program at the college level.. Janet is also certified to perform marriages in the State of New Jersey for both hetero and same sex couples.  She is the daughter of a decorated WWII Veteran who earned the Purple Heart for service and she is dedicated to helping veterans and their families.
