Johnson Law is a boutique Colorado law firm specializing in litigating construction defects. Tessa represents clients in all stages of a case, including pre-suit negotiations, drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, briefing, jury trials, arbitration, and appeals. She also works on the transactional side of contracts by drafting, revising and negotiating them as well as litigating contract disputes. Prior to litigation, Tessa worked as in-house counsel for a large Colorado subcontractor where she drafted and negotiated construction contracts. Tessa continues to revise and negotiate construction contracts and has developed a specialty in revising contracts within the roofing industry.
