Kevin earned his Juris Doctorate in 2008 from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, serving as Technical Editor of the Transportation Law Journal.. Kevin spent 12 years at Anderson and Yamada, P.C., where he became a nationally recognized transportation lawyer, focusing on cargo claim litigation under the Carmack Amendment. In 2020, he stepped away from law to pursue his dream of running a silvo-pastured pig ranch. However, his passion for advocacy led him back to the courtroom..
