Suzanne’s practice focuses on wealth transfer planning, gift and estate tax planning, wills and trusts, asset protection planning, business succession planning, probate and estate administration, trust administration, and litigation involving trusts and estates as well as other complex civil litigation matters. Her focus is on assisting families and business owners with designing, drafting and implementing estate and wealth transfer plans that minimize taxes and preserve the family legacy. As the daughter of entrepreneurs Suzanne recognizes the need to protect and preserve the family business for future generations. Suzanne has been recognized in the Kentucky/Ohio SuperLawyers list from 2013 to 2017 as a Rising Star in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the state are selected as Rising Stars each year. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell in Estate Planning and Litigation.. Suzanne began her career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at a well-known product liability defense firm. She represented manufacturers of industrial equipment and motor vehicles. While honing her litigation skills during the day she returned to school at night to earn her Estate Planning Certification through Temple Law School’s LLM in Taxation program.. Suzanne’s knowledge and experience as an estate planner coupled with her skills as a litigator and trial attorney provide a unique set of skills to benefit her clients. Suzanne has represented numerous clients throughout the Commonwealth in jury trials, bench trials, and administrative hearings. While earning her law degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was a member Temple’s Nationally ranked and recognized Trial Team. As a member of the Trial Team she was a runner-up at the 2005 ATLA Regional Trial Competition and runner up at the 2003 Cathy Bennett National Criminal Trial Competition. She tried mock trials from New York City to Los Angeles. She furthered her studies abroad in Rome, Italy, were she studied International Civil and International Criminal Litigation. When Suzanne graduated she was the recipient of Temple’s Class of 2005’s Most Promising Litigator Award.
