Michael G. Halvorson was born in 1974 in Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated high school in 1993 and went to Concordia in Moorhead for his undergraduate studies. At Concordia, Mike played football and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology in 1997. Mike subsequently attended Hamline Law School during which time he had the opportunity to clerk for the Dakota County Public Defender’s Office, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and a private construction litigation firm. In 2001, Mike obtained his juris doctorate and was admitted to the Minnesota State and Federal Bars. In 2002, Mike joined Johnson, Larson, Peterson & Halvorson as an associate and was made partner in 2008. In 2015, Mike joined his longtime friend and former teammate at Concordia to form Halvorson Langemo & Paschke..
