Robert T. Brabbit joined SeibenCarey in June 2017.  He was a founding partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Brabbit & Salita, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991. While in law school, Mr. Brabbit served as Executive Editor of the William Mitchell Law Review from 1990-91 and as a staff member from 1989-1990. His article "Buzin v. Wood: The Eighth Circuit's End Run of Miranda" was published in the William Mitchel Law Review vol. 16 1990. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Brabbit was an adjunct professor of law teaching Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy at the University of St. Thomas School of Law from 2003-2011. As a trial lawyer, Mr. Brabbit practices in the area of civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs and concentrates in workers' compensation, automobile negligence, product liability and wrongful death. Mr. Brabbit authored the chapter "Amendment of Pleadings" in the Minnesota State District Court Civil Practice Deskbook 1st Edition 2009 and 2nd Edition 2014.
