Mr. Louisa represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state court.  His litigation practice focuses on contract disputes, business torts, consumer protection litigation, securities litigation, SEC enforcement proceedings, officer and director liability, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and trademark and trade secret litigation.  Mr. Louisa also practices in the areas of criminal defense, contract drafting and negotiation, and real estate transactions.. Mr. Louisa is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.  Mr. Louisa graduated in the top 10% of his law school class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  During law school, Mr. Louisa was a editor member of the University of Miami Law Review, interned for the Honorable William P. Dimitrouleas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and interned with the Major Crimes Section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.  Mr. Louisa also was a summer associate at one of the 100 largest firms in the United States.  After law school, Mr. Louisa joined that Am Law 100 firm as a commercial litigation associate and practiced in the firm’s New York and Miami offices for four years.  Mr. Louisa proudly established his own practice in September of 2014 after relocating to Massachusetts.
