Henry H. Tran is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, concentrating in complex commercial litigation. Henry’s experience includes commercial disputes involving breaches of contract, employment discrimination and wrongful termination issues, shareholder disputes, and state and federal regulatory compliance. In addition, Henry has extensive experience in securities litigation and cases involving SEC investigations.. Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Henry earned a B.A. in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine, and spent two years abroad working in government relations and international development in China and the United Kingdom. While attending Northeastern University School of Law, Henry worked at the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, engaging in complex securities litigation and developing a specialty in FCPA compliance regulation. Henry also served as a law clerk at the Special Litigation Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was involved in high-stakes litigation involving collective bargaining agreements, settlement disputes, and regulatory compliance.. Later, Henry worked for a private employment litigation firm where he successfully prepared an oral argument before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and wrote a Petition for Certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court for a nationally significant case involving corporate compliance investigations. Additionally during this time, Henry served as a staff member for the Northeastern University Law Journal, worked as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Research and Writing, and held four legal research assistant positions. He also served as a Civil Advocate in the Domestic Violence Clinic, and spent one term as a Legal Teaching Fellow.. Henry plays a prominent role in the legal and professional community. As a law student, Henry was appointed Executive Lieutenant Governor of the First Circuit for the American Bar Association and was later selected to serve as the National Student Liaison to the ABA Judicial Division Council. He is also an active member of the Asian American Lawyer’s Association of Massachusetts and has performed pro bono work for the Volunteer Lawyer’s Program of the Boston Bar Association.
