After graduating from the University of Southern California, where I earned a B.S. degree in Finance, I worked for Shearson Lehman Brothers as a licensed registered representative.  After law school, I worked as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, New York.. After law school, I worked as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, New York.  Working in the DA's office gave me invaluable courtroom skills and experience.  From arraignments, grand jury, conducting on-site investigations, drafting search warrants, these indelible skills benefited me when I litigated cases in the private sector.. In the late 1990s, I worked at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter representing the firm from allegations of stockbroker misconduct.. Since 2000, I have been in private practice representing investors defrauded by stockbrokers and brokerage firms.  Many times, stockbrokers place their interest above their clients and other times brokerage companies fail to conduct proper due diligence on products before putting the items on their sales platform.. What sets me apart from other lawyers is not only I know the law, but I know the customs and practices in the securities industry which are invaluable when advocating on a client's behalf.
