In addition to maintaining a very diverse and successful trial practice, Susan is actively involved in a wide-range of work for the profession and the community. Susan serves as a Commissioner for the California State Bar’s Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE) Commission, which investigates and evaluates applicants who seek to become judges at the trial, appellate and supreme court levels throughout the state of California. Susan also serves on the Advisory Board and was elected to serve as President of the Litigation Counsel of America. To promote the advancement of Asian Pacific American women in the legal profession, Susan sits on the Executive Board of Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA)..
