My practice includes litigation, clearance, and business counseling with an emphasis on copyright, entertainment, and Internet law. I represent motion picture studios, recording companies, video game developers, print publishers, entertainment professionals, newspapers, advertising agencies, music publishers, and internet service providers in litigation and counseling capacities spanning all aspects of intellectual property law.. Before joining Leopold, Petrich & Smith, I was a litigation associate at Irell & Manella, an elite intellectual property firm based in Los Angeles. At Irell, I represented environmental organizations in lawsuits challenging the U.S. Navy’s use of sonar (and its effect on marine mammals), and was part of the trial team that won TiVo a multi-million dollar patent infringement verdict in the Eastern District of Texas.. I graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2005, where Iwas Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review. Since building a law student blog in 2004, I have authored, designed, developed, and operated various websites.
