Nelson A. Garcia, Partner, a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, practices in all areas of Family Law, including divorce, custody, and domestic violence. He is experienced in helping business owners navigate the world of family law. He is a trained mediator and highly skilled litigator. He also has substantial experience in appellate brief writing and argument before the District of Columbia and Maryland Courts of Appeal. Formerly with Robert A. Ades & Associates where he practiced in all areas of Family Law, Mr. Garcia has extensive litigation experience. He graduated from Florida State University in 1979, where he earned a B.A., English and Business Co-Major, and earned his Juris Doctor in 1983 from Boston College Law School. He is a former Commissioner for the Montgomery County Maryland Commission for Women. Mr. Garcia lectures frequently on divorce and separation, domestic violence and other Family Law Matters and is a frequent talk-show participant on radio and television in these areas.
