While in law school, Mr. Speed was a member of the College’s nationally recognized elite trial advocacy program where he earned numerous awards in courtroom competitions, including the Best Attorney Advocate Award at the American Association for Justice Trial Competition. After graduating from law school, Mr. Speed was invited to join South Texas College of Law as a mock trial coach and adjunct professor. He currently coaches mock trial advocacy teams that compete in national tournaments..
