I am a criminal trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience.  I have defended death penalty cases and tried numerous murder cases and serious sex offenses.  I have represented clients throughout the State of Missouri and in federal district court in Missouri, Illinois, Alabama, and South Carolina.  I have argued cases before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.  I have submitted appellate briefs in the Fourth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.. I am a member of the Federal Criminal Justice Act Lead Panel in the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois , a contract attorney for the Missouri State Public Defender System and the Principal Shareholder and managing attorney of Frank, Juengel & Radefeld P.C. a St. Louis based criminal defense firm.. I believe everyone accused of a crime has the right to be defended by an experienced and effective lawyer, no matter what the charge.  Often the defense lawyer is the only one to stand up for the accused, and stand between them and the Government, who are trying to take away their liberty.  I feel privileged to defend my clients and work hard to make sure the Government and the Courts do not violate their Constitutional Rights.
