In a city that has seen many out-of-state law firms open their doors in Las Vegas, Jolley Urga Woodbury Holthus & Rose remains one of the last “Vegas born” firms.  I was raised in Las Vegas and I am proud to work and live in such a great community.. I practice primarily in the areas of licensing, corporate and real estate transactions. I also focus a significant part of my practice on business and privilege licensing, including medical and retail marijuana establishments, liquor licensing, gaming licensing, auto dealership licensing and transportation licensing. Melissa has been closely involved with the legal aspects of the emerging cannabis industry in Nevada and assists clients with matters involving medical and retail (recreational) marijuana establishments.. Along with my law degree, I earned a Master’s of Business Administration which allows me to counsel my clients not only as to the legal requirements of starting and owning a business, but the intricacies of running a successful enterprise. I believe strongly in treating clients with the utmost care and respect and make it a priority to be responsive to their concerns and needs.. Outside of my career, I also enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy yoga and outdoor activities such as snowboarding, camping and hiking.
