Rachel Igdal is an associate at the Steinberg Law Firm. From an early age, Rachel knew that she wanted to be an attorney. Drawn to the fundamental difference between right and wrong, she chose to pursue a legal career so she could advocate on behalf of those in need of guidance and representation throughout the legal process.. Rachel’s practice focuses primarily on representing homeowners, condominium owners, homeowner associations and others similarly situated in construction defect and class action lawsuits against builders and contractors. Prior to joining the Steinberg Law Firm, Rachel was an attorney with a local construction defense firm which provided her a useful perspective in her present practice.. Rachel holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her JD from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Rachel excelled in her practical studies, receiving the CALI Award (highest class grade) in legal analysis and research, and serving as a Teaching Fellow with the Legal Research and Writing Department. Involved in several student organizations, Rachel was an executive member of Women in Law and served as the Senior Student Works Editor of the Federal Courts Law.. Outside of her legal practice, Rachel enjoys listening to live music and cheering on the Tar Heels.
