Richard (“Rick”) Pacia joined the law firm as a Partner in 2022. He is licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Rick graduated from New England Law | Boston in 2022 on the Dean’s List. In addition, he clerked for a criminal defense law firm, Kassebaum and Basile, P.A., in Miami, Florida. This is where his desire to be in the courtroom grew. Also, during his time in Washington D.C. interned for Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed on Capitol Hill.. Rick is a graduate of The Catholic University of America where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Bush School of Business with a major in Finance in 2017.. In 2019, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court awarded Mr. Pacia with the Pro Bono Honor Roll Certificate for his distinguished service in providing law-related pro bono legal services to those most in need.. Mr. Pacia is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Rhode Island Association for Justice, the Pawtucket Bar Association, the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Italian American Bar Association, and the Justinian Law Society. He is an active participant in the Volunteer Lawyer Program and the Elderly Pro Bono Program where he dedicates his time to the elderly most in need of legal services.
