Prior to law school, Bert managed a mid-sized business where he gained hands-on experience in the legal issues presented to business owners. As a law student, he volunteered extensively in a variety of pro-bono organizations and worked at the highest levels of both the State and Federal Governments. Bert is fluent in Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients.. Bert is a sixth-generation Arizonan. Each fall, Bert helps to organize the Mesa Sprint Triathlon to help raise funds for the Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation. When not at work, Bert enjoys water sports, hiking, cycling, growing fruit trees, and spending time with his family.
