I grew up in Missoula but went to school at Montana State University to get a B.S. in chemical engineering.  After working at the Hanford site in Washington, I returned to Missoula for law school.  I started as an intern at Worden Thane in 1994 and graduated  from law school in 1996 when I was hired as an associate.. Starting in 1999, I began working on complex litigation involving professional negligence (predominately medical malpractice) and class actions.  I have represented a variety of doctors, lawyers, accountants, and contractors in professional negligence cases.   I have also represented hospitals, power companies, and other businesses in class action litigation.. I have the honor of having a great group of clients in banking, construction, power production, and medicine.. Otherwise, I am an avid hockey player and a founder of the Missoula Woodpeckers Hockey Club, a travelling team, and I am completing my work for a black belt in taekwondo.

I am a consumer protection attorney based out of Missoula, Montana.  I began working in the area of consumer protection over ten years ago, and have helped countless Montanans with financial legal issues including debt collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure prevention, landlord-tenant problems, credit report errors, and more.. I am admitted to practice in all Montana state courts, United States District Court for the District of Montana, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  I am proud to be a member of the State Bar of Montana, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.. When I am not in the office, you can find me gardening, listening to old country music, and playing with my three-year old.
