A native of Boise, Idaho, Tyler has called Oregon home since relocating to the Northwest from New Orleans, where he attended college at Tulane University. He enjoys playing golf and basketball, exploring the outdoors, experiencing live music, travel and spending time with his family and friends. He is also involved in various community and charitable activities, including membership on the Ambassador Board for The First Tee of Greater Portland, which is an organization dedicated to promoting character development and life values in young people through the game of golf.

Tom Hillier focuses his practice on transactional real estate. His experience includes representing parties in the acquisition or disposition of real property, both landlords and tenants in commercial leases, lenders and borrowers in real estate financing, and investors involved in tax deferred exchanges, including tenancy in common transactions and other forms of real estate securities offerings. Tom also regularly advises clients on construction lien matters.
