Today's seniors step into a healthcare and financial system that is infinately more complex than any other generation of Americans has ever experienced.  I see it as my calling to help them get all the information that they need to set and adjust their financial and healthcare goals.. I concentrated in elder law nearly twenty years ago when I saw so many of my clients losing their life savings to nursing home care - all because they weren't aware of the benefits that were available to them such as Veterans Benefits for those who served during times of war.. As a second generation advocate for seniors,  I have helped older Americans and their families design Estate and Life Care Plans that assure that loved ones are taken care of while saving as much of their hard-earned money as possible. I have taken a great deal of time and effort to pull together a team of people who share his passion for helping seniors. Each member of my team has a special talent or expertise that helps clients accomplish their goals.. Every family deserves the right to control what happens to them and to their estate.  I see it as my duty and obligation to provide my community with information and education so that they can take advantage of every option that is available to them.

I focus my practice on the unique needs of our senior population.   This focus includes the areas of elder law, Medicaid planning, wills, powers of attorney, advanced directives, probate, trusts, guardianship, and tax planning.  I am a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Cleveland Bar Association, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.  Further, I am accredited by the Veterans Association to give advice to our Veterans on benefits they may be entitled to.. I received my Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University in 2000 and my Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron School of Law in 2007.  I am active in my community and church, serving on several boards and committees.  I reside in Copley, Ohio with my husband and son.

Erin C. Eurenius is delighted to help seniors, individuals with disabilities, and their families at West Side Elder Law. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2015. She is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as a CELA®. The CELA® is accredited by both the American Bar Association and the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists.. Her passion for elder law stems from her personal experiences with her grandmother, Helen. Erin’s grandmother helped to raise her while living with the family. Around the age of 84, Helen was diagnosed with dementia and a few short years later suffered from a stroke. Erin watched the repercussions of not planning ahead for these devastating occurrences in life. Erin went to doctor’s visits and hospital calls at 3 am and visited the nursing home. She saw the guardianship process firsthand. She understands the stress and anxiety that a family can be dealing with during these situations. Her goal while practicing law is to be a helping hand through the process, easing the tensions and fears that our clients and their families may be experiencing. She will work in the areas of estate planning, Medicaid, asset protection, Veterans benefit, and probate and trust administration.. Erin’s family experiences with her grandmother motivated her to attend law school. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Erin participated in the dual degree program and also has her Masters of Business Administration. Her previous professional career involves working in public and private accounting at the firms of PriceWaterhouse Coopers and RSM McGladrey. Her focus was on tax. Erin is a Certified Public Accountant having obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with degrees in international business, finance, and accounting from Cleveland State University. She was part of the inaugural Honors Program at CSU and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She grew up in the Cleveland area and attended Padua Franciscan High School. Go, Bruins!.
