Terry began his legal career in Buffalo, New York in 1976. Upon moving to Albuquerque, Terry worked as an assistant district attorney, which made him a constant presence in the courtroom. In 1979, Terry reentered private practice focused on personal injury and real estate law. He shifted to full-time personal injury and medical malpractice litigation in 1988.. In addition to practicing law, Terry is a dedicated volunteer in the Albuquerque community. Terry has been the Charter President of the Uptown Optimist Club and of his neighborhood association. A summa cum laude graduate from the University of New Mexico School of Law, Ashley clerked for the Department of Justice Office of International Affairs, Canada and English Speaking Carribean Team.
