After law school, Mr. Gutierrez worked for the City of Albuquerque as the assistent city attorney prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor criminal cases before switching to personal injury and civil litigation. He previously worked the defense side of the table, defending the City of Albuquerque and its employees in tort and civil-rights cases. He represented the Albuquerque Police Department.. In 1983, Bob went to work for a large insurance law firm, where he became a shareholder and director. During 18 years there he developed valuable knowledge of defense strategies in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, auto accidents, property or premises negligence, oil field accidents, medical malpractice and dental malpractice..
