Prior to moving to the Big Bend, I was Deputy Chief Public Defender in DuPage County, Illinois, where I was in charge of training and supervising the attorneys in the Misdemeanor Division. In addition to my supervisory duties, I maintained an active caseload of felony files. I have tried dozens of cases to verdict.. I hold a law degree from the University of Chicago and a degree in classical guitar performance from Florida State University.
