In her position, Shannon helped individuals with a wide variety of immigration issues related to family-based and employment-based visas.. Shannon has worked as an attorney, and a public servant, for over fourteen years. Immediately following law school, Shannon served for four years on active duty in the United States Navy JAG Corps as a prosecutor and defense counsel. She continues to serve as a reservist, currently working as an appellate defense attorney. After she left active duty, Shannon pursued a career in public service as an attorney for the U.S. government, to include working for the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice.. In 2015, Shannon moved to Washington State, where she decided to start her own law firm to pursue her desire to continue to help immigrants.
