In my free time, I love being with my family--my three children, all adults now, and my husband, are a great joy. I came to the family law arena reluctantly. When I left law school 22 years ago, I swore I would never, ever, ever, ever do another dissolution. I feel it is important to take the long view. Clients spend maybe a couple of years with their attorney but will be parents of the children forever. It is important to handle matters in such a way as to protect the relationship so the children don't end up the real victims.
