Justin Allen Chin founded his first company at the age of 15. Through his success, his law firm is the leading and most specialized family law firm in Georgia, having litigated hundreds of cases and achieving the goals of his clients. Specifically, he helps clients establish custody of child(ren), increased parenting time with child(ren), and child support for child(ren). He has authored the book “Custody and Divorce in Georgia: First Edition”, graduated from Charlotte Christian School as Valedictorian of the Class of 2001 and Student Body President of the High School, graduated from Georgia Tech in Engineering on a full-ride scholarship as a President’s Scholar Class of 2005, and graduated from Mercer School of Law on a tuition scholarship for the Class of 2008. Recently I obtained a defendants' verdict for my clients in a four-week jury trial involving claims of accounting fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and RICO. David handles a wide variety of business litigation in the areas of accountant liability, business torts, contract, copyright and trademark protection, corporate governance, and trade secrets.. David graduated from the University of Michigan Magna Cum Laude in 1998 with a double honors B.A. in History and American Studies.  David is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key honor societies. David then earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin.

As the son of an Air Force officer, I had the fortune of "growing up" in many different places, which exposed me to a diverse array of people and cultures.  These experiences helped to shape the person and attorney I am today: curious, engaging, and versatile.  When it comes to the practice of law, I strive to assist my clients with all of their legal needs in a direct and cost-effective manner.  If I do not possess the requisite experience in the area of law at hand, chances are I know and can steer my clients to an attorney who does.  When not working with clients, I enjoy traveling, hiking with my two Catahoulas, Belle and Tallulah, and spending time with my family and adorable nephew in Tampa, Florida.

After practicing for the last 8 1/2 years as a trial lawyer at King & Spalding - the largest Atlanta-based law firm in the city, I have opened my own plaintiffs personal injury practice focusing on complex personal injury cases and trial work. I have extensive litigation experience representing Fortune 100 companies in mass tort litigation. Over the course of my career, I have attended 24 multi-week trials, many resulting in favorable outcomes. I have experience presenting opening statements and closing arguments, cross-examining experts and fact witnesses, conducting direct examinations of medical experts, crafting complicated medical defenses, directing overall trial strategy, arguing legal issues, and drafting PowerPoints with persuasive trial demonstratives. I have taken and defended hundreds of depositions of experts, plaintiffs and other fact witnesses. I achieved vast experience as a trial lawyer, well beyond my age and most lawyers twice my age. I was the youngest trial lawyer on my team at King & Spalding. As a plaintiffs lawyer, I intend to use my extensive working knowledge of how the defense works up and tries challenging cases to benefit my clients who have been victims of the negligent and wrongful conduct of others. I bring Big Law skills to a small client-driven practice where the client owes nothing unless I achieve a favorable result for them.
