Originally from Cobb County, Georgia, I returned by way of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to the Atlanta area after graduating from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2006.  In law school, I focused on sharpening the litigation and negotiation skills that I rely on today in my practice on a day to day basis.  Prior to law school, I graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.. I have focused my practice on all aspects of family and domestic relations law, including divorce, division of assets, custody, alimony, child support, support modification, legitimation, paternity, and contempt since 1987. I have been privileged to hold many leadership positions in the legal profession in the State of Georgia, including fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers which is an exclusive organization of the nation's preeminent family law practitioners, master of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court, chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education which bears primary responsibility for basic training and continuing education of Georgia's judicial branch, and chair of the the Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency.
