Sam McRae grew up in Laurinburg, N.C., and earned a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He moved to Georgia to pursue his graduate degree in history from the University of West Georgia. After completing his masters, he rediscovered an interest in the law, which he inherited from his family, so he decided to go to law school at Georgia State University in Atlanta. His primary focus was on litigation and criminal law.. During his time at law school, Sam interned with the DeKalb County Public Defenders, starting in appeals. He quickly moved into the courtroom and handled thousands of traffic violations even before his graduation from law school.. After graduation, he became a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and American Bar Association. He then decided to move into private practice, establishing his own firm with Sam McRae Law before partnering with Gunner to form Pak and McRae Law.. Sam chose this career path so he could dedicate his time and expertise to assisting those who find themselves in difficult situations. And his passion and determination have led to our firm’s 90 percent success rate and ongoing quality that our representation offers each and every client.
