Jason Snell came to establish his own law practice via a rather circuitous route.. Jason graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. His minor area of interest was Business Communication. During his undergraduate studies, Jason reported for the school newspaper and held various leadership positions on campus, including president of both his graduating class and fraternity.. Jason also distinguished himself academically during his undergraduate studies by consistently being named to the President's and Dean's List. After college, Jason worked as a laborer in the construction industry in petrochemical refineries in the Port Arthur Area, and taught school at his alma mater, Port Neches-Groves High School, in Port Neches, Texas.. In 1996, Jason began law school at Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. During law school, Jason won the American Jurisprudence Award for academic excellence and was initiated into the honorary legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi (top 25% of class).. Jason then left Texas and traveled extensively in Europe.
