This time at the public defender’s office inspired him to be a criminal defense attorney, and his passion for criminal defense work lead him to obtain the highest grades in his class for Constitutional Law and Constitutional Criminal Procedure while in law school. During law school, Keith interned with the Honorable Sally D. Adkins of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, and worked with Professor Bryon L. Warnken to update and revise Professor Warnken’s treatise Maryland Criminal Procedure. After graduating with honors from law school, Keith clerked for the Honorable Michael J.
