A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in Estate Planning, Justin joined Batoff Associates as an associate working in the areas of corporate governance and employee benefits. He provides counsel on a wide range of other issues relating to sports & entertainment, mergers & acquisitions, securities regulation, retirement planning & implementation, and ERISA compliance.Additionally, Justin counsels tax-exempt organizations and helps not-for-profit entities to navigate the federal application process to obtain tax exempt status. He also assists in providing estate planning and concierge services to multi-family office clients.A lifelong Baltimore resident, Justin was a career student and varsity athlete at the Gilman School. He attended Johns Hopkins University where he studied Art History as well as Entrepreneurship & Management. While at Johns Hopkins he was elected Vice-President of St. Elmo Hall and played JHU Club Lacrosse. In concert with his brother, Justin is the co-founder of the Old Line Society. The OLS is a nonprofit organization encouraging philanthropy and fundraising efforts among young professionals in the Baltimore area. Justin also serves as an adviser, or in the capacity of a trustee, for a number of civic organizations. Away from the office he can usually be found in the field, fox-hunting or on area steeplechase courses pursuing his career as an Amateur Rider.
