My practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, guardianships, and conservatorships. I am passionate about serving others. I enjoy helping families plan and prepare for the future with an estate plan that reflects their values and goals. I support families going through difficult times, such as when a loved one has passed away or can no longer live independently, by helping them navigate the court processes efficiently.. I grew up in the Northwest and have called Portland, Oregon, home for over 15 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College, where I graduated cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. While studying at Willamette University College of Law, I was the managing editor of the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution and a member of the Willamette Law Review and Willamette Law Online. I graduated cum laude in the top 15% of my class.
I grew in and aroundthe Seaside area of the Oregon coast. While attending high school, Ispent my free time surfing, wrestling, and playing football. I graduatedfrom Seaside High and moved on to Portland State University where I supportedmyself through school working the graveyard shift at a produce warehouse. After earning a double major in Economics and Business Administration – Accounting,I secured a job in the downtown office of KPMG and started my career as a CPAin the audit and business consulting profession. I worked in Portland forseveral years before transferring to the Honolulu office of KPMG where afternearly 5 years with KPMG I left the firm to pursue my law degree at theUniversity of Hawaii.. After law school Ireturned to Portland to obtain my Oregon State Bar license and enter intoprivate practice. I worked diligently in several firms, first as an associateand then as a partner, learning the ins and outs of legal practice from my moreexperienced colleagues before co-founding Bridge City Law with Scottin September 2010.. Outside of work, Itake pleasure in travel and outdoor activities- exploring and experiencing allthat the beautiful Northwest has to offer. I enjoy the pursuit ofgood food and drink- whether dining out in the city or cooking up a meal athome, and always in the company of family and good friends.
