Robert resides in Windsor, Connecticut, and is a member of the Windsor Town Council.  He formerly served as the Chairman of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission of the Town of Windsor, is a member of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, the Windsor Marksman’s Association, the Elks and the American Legion, having honorably served in the Connecticut Army National Guard.  He formerly served on the Advisory Board to the University of Connecticut School of Engineering and formerly served as the President of the School of Engineering Alumni Society.  Robert also has volunteered as a soccer coach, little league coach, and as a Cub Scout Leader.

David Baram was the Mayor of Bloomfield, CT from 1983 to 1989 and served as Chairman of the Capitol Region Council of Governments from 1987 to 1989.  He ran for State Senate in 1990.  David Baram was President of the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce from 1996-1998.  David is currently Chairman of the Bloomfield Democratic Town Committee and also serves as Chairman of the Bloomfield Center Fire District.  Attorney Baram is  Chairman of the Board for the Jewish Federation Association of CT. David Baram was elected to the 15th Assembly District in the CT. House of Representatives in a special election on March 24, 2009.  He was re-elected in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016, and  served on the Judiciary Committee, Banking Committee, and as Chair of the General Law Committee.. On November 7, 2017 David Baram was elected Judge of Probate for the Tobacco Valley Probate District, District 3, serving the towns of Bloomfield, Windsor Locks, East Granby and Suffield.
