I focus my litigation practice on criminal defense, employment law, and appeals.  My criminal practice includes cases in both state and federal courts.  I have represented clients charged with crimes such as murder; motor vehicle homicide; conspiracy; drug possession, distribution, and trafficking; weapons offenses; money laundering; visa fraud; assault and battery; sexual assault; incest; operating under the influence; disorderly conduct; and resisting arrest.. In my civil practice, I focus primarily on employment law, where I represent employees whose rights are being violated at work.  I fight for clients who are opposing unlawful employment practices, such as discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violations of other state and federal laws.  I also provide advice and counseling: I help employees address problems that arise in the workplace, I review contracts, and I negotiate separation or severance agreements.

David also served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases involving violent crime, drunk driving, larceny, financial fraud, and many other offenses. While at the Middlesex DA’s Office, David was the lead prosecutor in numerous trials before juries and judges.. Prior to launching Drohan Hitt & Hadas along with his colleagues Tom Drohan and John Hitt, David ran a boutique litigation firm from 2012 to 2016, where he primarily served individuals and small businesses in a variety of disputes in state and federal courts..
