I handle and try cases for various clients throughout New England and I am a frequent speaker on issues related to civil trial practice, product liability and other complex matters in the state and federal courts.I have written numerous publications regarding civil practice, including "Enforcing Protective Orders: Getting Them Is Only Part of the Job," which appeared in the Defense Counsel Journal; "Recourse for Spoliation of the Product," published in Volume V of Automotive Engineering and Litigation; "Comparative Fault in a Crashworthiness Case," published in the April 2002 issue of For the Defense.

I have been practicing law since 1982 and I have been at my current firm since 1989. My practice is national. I have handled litigation matters in 19 states. My main areas of practice include all types of commercial litigation including intellectual property, aviation, product liability and toxic torts. I am currently defending one of the airlines in the 9/11 litigation. I also provide risk management consulting and lecture and write frequently on legal topics, in the U.S. and abroad.
