Gregory A. Connly graduated from Long Island University in Southampton, New York in 1985. He graduated from Suffolk University Law School in Boston with honors in 1991. He is a member of both the Massachusetts and New York bars.. Attorney Connly worked for the Suffolk County Legislature in Hauppauge, New York after college. He was named Chief of Staff to the Presiding Officer of the Legislature in 1986.. In 1988, Attorney Connly joined the United States Marine Corps and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in August of that year. Attorney Connly was accepted into the Platoon Leader's Course for law and began law school at Suffolk University in the fall of 1988..
