After serving in the Navy, Joseph utilized his engineering skills and took on several construction jobs as a safety inspector until deciding to change careers in 2002. The career change Joseph made was from construction to law. He attended Paralegal school part time while still working. Then, Joseph began his career in family law, but quickly changed it to collection law. He has worked in the collection industry first as a paralegal and now as an attorney. He is accustomed to a fast-paced environment where deadlines are a priority and handling multiple tasks simultaneously is a requirement. He enjoys a challenge and works hard to attain his goals. During law school Joseph focused as much studies as possible on the first amendment, contract review, and entertainment law.
