Kate grew up in the Detroit area.  She moved to Chicago, Illinois for her undergrad at Loyola University Chicago.  While in Chicago, Kate interned for Senator Mark Kirk and clerked at an insurance defense firm downtown.. From there, she headed north to attend Marquette University Law School.  Through her law school career, she took very diverse classes specializing in family and criminal matters.  Kate took a very in depth seminar in Guardian ad Litem, confirming her knowledge of the process.  She is very well versed in Family and Criminal law in Wisconsin and has worked in such since she graduated from Marquette University Law School.. Amy was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater and a Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University. Amy previously ran her own successful solo practice in Ohio largely working in the areas of criminal and juvenile law (CHIPS and Juvenile Delinquency), and frequently served as a guardian ad litem in both juvenile and family court where she represented the children's best interests. She later joined a small general practice firm where she practiced in a variety of areas including estate planning, family, criminal and juvenile delinquency, CHIPS, and guardian ad litem cases. After moving back to the area and being admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2018, she joined Horizons Law Group, LLC where she practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, family, and continues to serve as a guardian ad litem.
